The Fire of Delay
We live in a world of instant gratification with the expectation that our needs should be supplied on demand. But often we come face to face with the issues of delay when our promises just don’t seem to align with our timelines. And when delay is extended, how we deal with the process reveals much more than we realize.
In the Fire of Delay, Jill shares her own personal journey and the key insights revealed to her that will give you a deeper understanding into how God uses extended waiting periods to refine and prepare us for our promises. In The Fire of Delay, Jill Robson has done a masterful job pouring out her own life experience, as she has walked closely with God through times of waiting. As spiritual parents to Jill, we have joined her on this walk on many occasions. It has not been easy. It has not been without pain and perplexity at times.
After dealing with the problem of pain and shame that leads to double-mindedness in section one of the book, in section two, she shares powerful
perspectives she has received from God and His Word that have allowed her to keep her heart soft and intimate with Him.
